Cube Partnership is delighted to announce that the local partner in Oregon for the World Championships July 15th to 24th 2022 is the University of Oregon’s retail organisation The Duck Store. The Duck Store will act as both the venue partner and a wholesaler for the event. They will provide the people, logistics and data for the World Championships as well as seven shop-in-shop areas in their own stores across the beautiful state of Oregon. Arlyn Schaufler, the CEO of The Duck Store, said: “We are delighted to work with Cube Partnership to bring an incredible selection of merchandise to fans and guests. As a business firmly rooted in Oregon, we are thrilled to welcome the world to our state and honoured to be a part of their World Athletics Championships Oregon22 experience.

“In our one-hundred-year history we have served countless University of Oregon students, staff, faculty and fans in our stores and at Oregon Athletics events. Through that experience we know the important role of exceptional retail service in supporting a positive event atmosphere. In every step of our relationship with Cube Partnerships we’ve seen them apply the highest standards to every detail of their work. We are pleased to work with them to bring our shared customer-centred approach to the World Athletics Championships Oregon22 retail experience.”

Andy Hamilton, Cube Partnership’s Business Director, added: “Arlyn and the Duck Store team have been invaluable in helping us prepare for and run the event. There is no one with a better understanding of the city of Eugene or experience in retailing at major sporting events in Oregon. They have also introduced us to local manufacturers who will provide a significant percentage of the product for the event. Go Ducks!”
