From 2017-2018, the Cube team was instrumental in the successful delivery of the global F1 retail programme.

Under the directorship of Cube’s Executive Chairman, Andy Moss, and Cube Management’s MD, Carl Thompson, the Cube team supplied, built and managed the official F1 merchandise retail operation at Formula One World Championship events the world over.

In 2018 alone, the team project-managed 140 retail structures across fourteen Grand Prix circuit venues. These included the many F1 superstores, multiple walk-up satellite stores and bespoke retail units within Paddock Clubs.

At each venue, the Cube team managed the build and shop fit-outs, installed the branding and fully supported the on-event retail operation.

The team was also instrumental in ensuring stakeholder engagement with circuit promoters, providing health & safety management and compliance expertise, and delivered on-site solutions and operational guidance.

Cube undertook detailed retail design and location planning before each event, based on sales analysis, F1 customer market profiles and race circuit layout, with the objective to increase ROI and maximise the retail footprint in each store.
