DELIVERING A WORLD-CLASS RETAIL SERVICE IN BERMUDA

In August 2016, our Commercial Director, Andy B’s Cactus Brand Partners consultancy, was engaged by the America’s Cup Event Authority to manage all retail, licensing and merchandise plans for the 35th America’s Cup and ORACLE TEAM USA.

The brief included the huge challenge of delivering a world-class retail experience in a custom-built spectator island in Bermuda. Andy B’s solution: a must-visit superstore and four other satellite and team stores.

Andy B also oversaw the launch of America’s Cup’s first dedicated online store, implemented a new sponsor premiums programme, and coordinated all licensee activity.

Andy did an outstanding job in delivering a first-class merchandise programme within a very short time frame. He understands the business inside out and was able to drive substantial revenue.
