The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team (AMF1) is delighted to announce the introduction of cryptocurrency payments on its official online store.

In conjunction with the team’s Global Partner Crypto.com and Official E-Commerce Partner, Cube Partnership (Cube), visitors to shop.astonmartinf1.com now have the option to purchase merchandise using the cryptocurrency of their choice.

Today’s announcement also means that AMF1’s online store becomes the first official F1 merchandise outlet to accept cryptocurrency payments.

Cube has worked with Crypto.com, which already has more than 50 million users, to integrate directly with Crypto.com’s global ecosystem.

Rugby League World Cup 2021 celebrates excitement of 150 days to go milestone

Today marks 150 days to go until the start of the Rugby League World Cup 2021 (RLWC2021) with a celebration of 150 reasons to be excited for the trail-blazing tournament which kicks-off at St James’ Park, Newcastle on Saturday 15 October later this year. The tournament has marked the latest milestone by sharing a montage of reasons to be excited from ambassadors, players, stakeholders, community clubs and partners that will be spread across the tournament’s channels all day.

RLWC2021 will be a breakthrough moment in the tournament’s history with the men’s, women’s and wheelchair competitions being staged together for the first time. The three tournaments will take place across 21 venues throughout England with all 61 games being broadcast live on the BBC.

Tournament Ambassador Kevin Sinfield  focused on looking forward to seeing how all three England teams are going to perform and  hopes for silverware. England women’s international Courtney Winfield-Hill can’t wait to play in front of those passionate crowds in the north of England where the sport began. Tonga men’s head coach Kristian Woolf is excited to see his Tongan superstars represent their nation after a really difficult year and make the country proud. All the reasons will be shared across the tournament’s social media channels, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook throughout the day.

Jon Dutton, Chief Executive of Rugby League World Cup 2021, added: “Today marks another significant milestone in the build up to our tournament and the online activity shows how much there is to look forward to as we continue our preparations to put on the biggest, best and most inclusive Rugby League World Cup of all time.

“I personally can’t wait to see that opening game at St James’ Park on October 15th, but it will be just one of 61 exciting fixtures taking place across England over the five weeks to follow in what will be a hugely exciting and impactful time for everyone associated with the sport.”

Following the end of a thrilling Caribbean Premier League 2021 season, a closely fought competition won by St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Cube Partnership designed and produced the winner’s tee.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots claimed their first ever Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) title this year, defeating the Saint Lucia Kings by three wickets in a closely contested encounter at Warner Park.

The winners t’shirt, specifically designed by Cube, is available on the official CPL2021 online store. The online store, created, run and operated by Cube, brings the vibrant CPL2021 merchandise to fans worldwide, including its Cube-designed, own brand merchandise.

Cube’s expert digital design team also provided the marketing assets for the winners t’shirt campaign, created to enhance and celebrate CPL’s colourful and vibrant brand image.

During the final, the Saint Lucia Kings won the toss and chose to bat, as they did in their semi-final match. Despite losing wickets at key stages of the game, they built a total around the batting of Roston Chase, who stabilised the innings, allowing the likes of Rahkeem Cornwall and Keemo Paul to play with attacking intent and guide them to 159/7.

In what was a dramatic final, the Patriots managed to successfully chase their target with Dominic Drakes the hero with the bat, scoring 48 off 24 balls and securing a remarkable victory with the last ball of the match.
